LOCAL VINTAGE SHOPPING
This non-exhaustive selection based on my personal experience is still work in progress, I will add a few more.
You can make some great finds in Bienne, but to avoid disappointment, it's worth being cautious of open hours, as most places below only open a few days a week, and/or during half a day.
Dario Ratti is a young and talented watchmaker specialised in repairing vintage watches and clocks. As his customers would often bring him watches they wanted to sell, he started selling vintage pieces in parallel to his repair work.
What you'll find: The selection is eclectic but generally speaking, there is, as often in Bienne, a lot of Omega, occasionally a few entry level Rolexes, and then a blend of other brands.
Charles-Louis Muri is an expert vintage watch dealer who has been based in Bienne for over 40 years. His knowledge of the local industry is deep, and this is reflected in the quality of the pieces he receives.
What you'll find: Omega is by far the most represented brand here, between watches, pocket watches and clocks, always very well kept , but there are other brands as well, depending on arrivals.

CASH CONVERTERS BIENNE
Yes, I know this can sound odd alongside more romantic, old town, antique dealers. But this is Bienne, and a lot of great watches come into this place. Also, the team running it is extremely professional.
What you'll find: very broad price range, from many Swatches to the occasional Rolex. A fair bit of Omega.
